Annlady Jorge

Annlady Jorge is a clinician at Chances for Children-NY, where she provides dyadic therapy for children 0-5 and their caregivers. Annlady believes deeply in the power of relationships and that the relationship between a child and their caregiver has the power to be transformational and healing for their lives. She is dedicated to using strengths-based and collaborative approaches in her work with families. 

Annlady received her bachelor's from New York University’s Applied Psychology Program, where she interned at the NYU Child Study Center and learned about mood and anxiety disorders in children. She went on to work at the Center for Early Childhood Health and Development at NYU, partnering with early childhood centers across the city to support social-emotional learning in toddler and preschool classrooms and parenting support for caregivers, and as an Early Childhood Social Worker supporting infant and toddler classrooms, teachers, and families. 

Annlady is fond of the developmental interaction approach and is a graduate of Bank Street College’s Infant and Family Development and Early Intervention program. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter’s School of Social Work, where she participated in a year-long trauma training and internship program, learning the foundations of Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Annlady completed her graduate internships at Bank Street’s Family Center and the Association to Benefit Children’s Fast Break Clinic in the Bronx. She is elated to return to Bank Street as a presenter at the Infancy Institute In June 2026, where she will lead a workshop in Spanish, titled: Through the Eyes of our Young Children; Why Early Childhood Relationships Matter.
