Ashley Ervin, M.S., BC-DMT, LCAT, CPMT

Ashley is a board-certified Dance/Movement Therapist (DMT) and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) who received her master’s degree in Dance Therapy at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Her postgraduate training has included the Ways of Seeing International Program with Dr. Suzi Tortora at Dancing Dialogue. She received a certification in pediatric massage through Liddle Kidz Foundation and became a certified provider of TeleMental Health from the Telehealth Certification Institute. Ashley is also a Reiki Practitioner (Level II) and trained in Acutonics (Level I). 

Ashley currently works as a DMT at Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center providing psychotherapeutic interventions to infants, adolescents, and young adults with complex medical challenges including traumatic brain injuries, genetic disorders, and neurodiverse conditions. She has worked at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital as their first DMT supporting pediatric patients and their families with psychosocial needs, navigating varying medical diagnosis, as well as legacy and end of life care. Ashley’s clinical experience has also included providing DMT to nurture parent-child bonding with families in the foster care system at New Alternatives for Children, through the Building Blocks program under the leadership of Dr. Phyllis Cohen. Additionally, Ashley was a clinician in Dr. Suzi Tortora’s private practice Dancing Dialogue and she has supported young adults on the Autism Spectrum at Snack* through dance and movement programming. Ashley is a member of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) and has presented workshops and lectures locally.
