Rachel Roberts
Board Member, Infancy Leadership Circle/ Policy Chair
Rachel Roberts has worked in Early Childhood Education for the past 10 years. Rachel received her BA in Globalization Studies from The University of Albany, SUNY in 2016. Rachel lives outside of the Albany, NY metropolitan area and has worked in her community for the past decade through various nonprofit organizations. Most notably, starting as a childcare worker while in undergrad, moving into a Head Start administrative position as a post-grad, and has been employed with Early Care & Learning Council (ECLC) for the past 6.5 years working to support and coordinate the NYS Infant & Toddler Specialist Network. Rachel’s passions are rooted in both personal experience as a mom and professional interest in community welfare and social justice, and with that, infant & early childhood support; positive development and wellbeing; improving quality of care and life; and family support, inclusion, and accessibility. Rachel has been a member of the NYZTT Infancy Leadership Circle (ILC) Policy Committee for the past two years and is currently working on creating and maintaining a Capital Region ILC to support the Albany/Troy/Schenectady/Saratoga region in improving the lives of our communities’ infants and toddlers.
